Seen improv shows (at Haas or elsewhere) and want in on the fun? Determined to try something a little outside your comfort zone to kick off the school year? This workshop series is for you!

Come learn the fundamentals of improvisation and how to put on a show from experienced improviser and improv instructor, Marcus Sams from Moments Improv in San Francisco. The focus will be on core skills that build toward performance -- and before you know it, you'll find yourself developing key business skills, like connecting with others, collaborative creativity, presentation presence and active listening.

This series will run for five consecutive weeks on THURSDAYS from 12:00-2:00pm on campus, beginning Thursday, October 26th. Given the intensive nature of the series, we are asking all participants to pay $25 for participation. The Improv Club will be heavily subsidizing the cost of this workshop; this $25 registration fee will directly offset the cost of hiring a professional instructor for this offering.

This offering is contingent on a minimum enrollment of 8 people by Monday, October 9, and on finding available space at Haas. If we for some reason are unable to host this workshop as planned, you will be promptly refunded. Tell your friends to join you to make this happen!

Workshop Dates:
October 26
November 2
November 9
November 16
November 30
Final Showcase - Date TBD (likely Dec 6 or Dec 7)
