The Women in Leadership club is an intersectional community, a professional resource, and a powerful social network.

Our Mission

WiL's mission is to serve the entire Haas community through a series of professional, educational, and social events designed to enhance the understanding and appreciation of women's roles in business while equipping WiL members for success.

Our Pillars

We organize around four main pillars to help foster an inclusive and engaging experience for our club members.

Community: We have several events that run throughout the year. The most relevant one being Wednesdays with WiL, an open table for members to come together and connect with the WiL community. Another highlight is our Members Retreat each fall.

Professional: To provide professional support, we collaborate with the Haas Career Management Group and our Alumni club (WiLA). Our flagship professional event is our Annual Spring Conference, the longest running conference at Haas.

Social: We spend a lot of time building community! Our members and allies are always invited to our WiL happy hours and mixers. We also work directly with Haas Admissions to host social, recruiting, and informational events for prospective students.

Educational: We host workshops on boundaries, allyship, and women's health, just to name a few. Our Manbassadors (male allyship group) spearhead much of this work. We also collaborate with and mentor the Berkeley Undergraduate Women in Business club.

Women in Leadership Conference

The WiL Conference is the longest-running conference at Haas (the 2024 conference will be the 28th year)! The conference attracts 300+ students, alumni, and professionals with a shared passion for women's empowerment and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This year's conference will explore Leading With Resilience. Join us for a powerful event with inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities to help you find, own, and use your own personal strengths.

The Berkeley Haas Women in Leadership Conference 2024 will take place on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 on the Haas campus. There will be an optional evening event on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, at the Ivy Room in Berkeley, CA.
