Please join us for a student-moderated panel on housing policy and development in the Bay Area. Sponsored by the Berkeley Real Estate Club as a follow-up to last year's "Is There Hope for Housing in the Bay Area?", "What's Next for Housing in the Bay Area?" will look back at the past year and discuss the effects of recent legislative and policy changes on rents, affordability, and the supply of housing, while discussing political, social, and economic factors that shape the state of housing in the Bay Area and innovations that may lie ahead. We'll hear from an expert panel that includes a Berkeley City Councilmember, a director from the San Francisco Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development, and both market-rate and affordable housing developers.

There will be networking from 5:30-6:00 and the panel will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

See bios below for more on our esteemed panelists.
