IoT in Retail

Rafael Pous, an Associate Professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, will be coming to campus to discuss the evolving role of IoT in Retail. Rafael's current research is focused on how to combine Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Cognitive Systems to create smart objects and spaces. He has also co-founded three companies, co-authored the first patent on fractal antennas, and got his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at our very own University of California, Berkeley.
