Intro to Python Workshop

Python is one of the most popular scripting languages in the world. It is very flexible and easy to learn, so it is perfect for beginners but can also be used for developing complex programs. This Intro to Python Workshop is targeted towards anybody in the Haas community who are new to coding or anybody with interest in starting out in data science.

In this 2-hour workshop we will cover the basics: strings, lists, files, conditions, and loops. We also discuss software development best practices and terminology that will be useful for anyone who plans to work with engineers.

For 2nd years, this is the same workshop that was held in the Spring, so no need to attend unless you need a refresher.
