Python & R Tutorials

This is an introduction to a series of Do-It-Yourself video tutorials on Python and R using Jupyter Notebooks. The tutorials were created by Haas explicitly for MBA students and are linked directly to Data and Decisions, the MBA core course. Students should have completed Data and Decisions and be familiar with the descriptive statistics and predictive modeling introduced in Data and Decisions up through Linear Programming. This session is also very complementary to the Into to R and Python workshops taught earlier this semester by the Data Science Club. By the end of this session, students should know how to invoke a Jupyter notebook using the Haas JupyterHub, how to navigate the tutorials, and how to execute R and/or Python functions within a notebook.
