Details

As the plight of undocumented students has taken centerstage in recent weeks, many are wondering: What are the challenges facing undocumented students as they pursue educational and career opportunities? What laws and policies shape these opportunities, and what are the possibilities moving forward, particularly in the wake of Trump's decision to end DACA?

Join us for a distinguished panel to discuss the rights of undocumented students, supports provided by educational institutions and organizations, and the future of immigration reform. Our panelists include Linda Tam, Director of the Immigration Practice at the East Bay Community Law Center (tinyurl.com/LindaTam), Katharine Gin, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Educators for Fair Consideration (tinyurl.com/KatharineGin), Christian Aguilar, a DACAmented teacher in San Jose (tinyurl.com/CristianAguilar), and Joel Sati, Berkeley PhD student, DACA recipient, and immigrant rights activist (tinyurl.com/JoelSati). Lunch will be provided!
