Group mock interview on IB technicals, Wed 11/28 at 11:am

MBAs pursuing IB internships:

I've booked classrooms for two sections of a group mock interview on IB technicals, on Wed 11/28 at 11:am (in N270) and 5:pm (in N170). This is largely a follow-on to the last IBSS session to get you to practice out loud. We want to quiz you a bit mostly on the Merger Math we covered, and to some extent on LBO Models and other topics/questions. The two sections will be similar, but feel free to join for both if you like.

In the meantime, please start to request mock interviews from your IB Peer Advisors and Abby Franklin, and practice answering questions out loud with a study buddy (we're hoping you'll use these sessions to jumpstart that practice if you haven't already).


As for resources, you have access to a ton through the IBSS 2018 Google drive that includes BWI materials, Mergers & Inquisitions 400 Questions and the latest Haas IB Interview Questions that were put together last spring. And hopefully you have access to Wall Street Prep online training and Factset (for deal runs).

Tues 1/8: Citi, CS, Lazard, Greenhill, Piper Jaffray, William Blair,
Thurs 1/10: JPM, Barclays (ideally in morning - will try to keep afternoon free for possible superdays)
Mon 1/14: Houlihan
Wed 1/16: GS, WF, DB

Off-campus: MS, BAML, Jefferies
Evercore is currently contemplating having first-round interviews by phone on 1/7.

Again, any IB might change its approach at any time.
