Finance Teach-in with alumnus Howard Wang from Ares Mgt on Alternative Investments

Here's a terrific chance to learn about Alternative Investments, including Private Equity and Real Estate -- with a deep dive into Credit Investing in the High Yield and Leveraged Loan markets. On Wed 2/13 we'll welcome Berkeley-Haas undergrad alumnus Howard Wang to campus to lead this presentation and discussion 1:00-2:00, with some further time to chat after the presentation. Howard is a Managing Director at LA-based Ares Management, one of the largest global alternative asset managers with $125B+ in assets under management. Its combined platform enables Ares to offer a broad range of flexible solutions along the risk-reward spectrum. Howard has been with Ares since 2000 and works specifically in their Credit Group. He'll share perspective on his path into this business, the challenges and opportunities of work in this field, and he'll lead discussion on a Credit Investment case (a new one following the case he did last year).
