Details
Food Innovation Studio is a 2-unit course at Haas in the Fall. It is dedicated to identifying food industry opportunities, developing innovative food systems solutions, and aligning execution tactics to build mission-driven, disruptive food ventures. The course will be led by William Rosenzweig.
The class will include mentorship from real-world professionals. Students will form teams of 3 to 5 students and work towards a business plan with a live pitch as a final deliverable. The course is application based.
The info session will be followed by an ideation session where Professor Will Rosenzweig will discuss spheres in food systems that are ripe for disruption. The session will use input from industry partners to identify areas where they are facing recurring challenges and would hope to see innovation in food system solutions. There is a great opportunity to make connections and start forming teams.
Course Partners will include leading CPG companies, food entrepreneurs, investors (including corporate VC), incubator programs, and more!
