In Session 02 of Venture Math, we're thrilled to welcome Christina Gilbert - Visiting Group Partner at Y Combinator and Co-founder of OneSchema.

Christina has seen both sides of the table:
- As a Founder: She co-founded OneSchema (YC S21), raising $10M+ from General Catalyst, Alfred Lin (Sequoia), Elad Gil, and Contrary, landed on the Forbes Cloud 100 Rising Stars list, and was named Forbes 30 Under 30.
- As an Investor & Partner: She serves as a Visiting Group Partner for YC's W26 and S26 batches and actively invests at the seed stage in breakout companies like Cognition, Decagon, Modal, and Pylon.

Joined by host Lorenzo Barberis Canonico (President of Cassandra Labs), Christina will take us inside Accelerators & SAFEs to unpack the real mechanics of seed fundraising:
💡 What We’ll Cover:
- The SAFE Trade-off: How SAFEs revolutionized fundraising speed—and the hidden dilution costs founders overlook.
- The YC Advantage: Why YC achieves a 5x unicorn conversion rate compared to other accelerators.
- Founder Demographics: The rising median age of YC founders and what it reveals about who gets funded today.
- Dilution Math: Real-world breakdowns of what the standard accelerator deal actually costs your cap table long-term.
