The world's largest mobile payment platform Alipay is coming to Haas campus to answer all above questions. Dora Chai, senior BD manager from Alipay is going to speak at Haas campus. Dora is also a Haas Alumni. Informal happy hour to follow.

Basic information about Alipay:
Alipay evolved from a Payment company into an online payment platform. Currently, it provides cross-border online payments, Paying for daily expenses, transferring money, Financing function. All individual demand related to finance could be realized in its App.

Alipay has 400 million registered users, dealing with 175 million transactions per day. It raised 4.5 billion USD at a 5.5 bn USD pre-money valuation in April 2016, according to Crunch base. Alipay overtook PayPal as the world's largest mobile payment platform in 2013. In the fourth quarter of 2016, Alipay had a 54% share of China's US$5.5 trillion mobile payment market, by far the largest in the world.
