Diversity & Inclusion are two of the biggest recent buzzwords in business. Managing diverse teams and fostering inclusive organizational culture are increasingly being touted as core skills for successful business leaders. But what does this really mean in practice, and what's the impact on the bottom line for companies? How can we, as Haas MBAs and future business leaders, prepare ourselves for this type of leadership?

Following the success of this workshop last semester, Haas alumna, Nicole Sanchez, VP of Social Impact at GitHub, will return to lead a second workshop, this time focusing on skills necessary to lead diverse teams and diving deeper on why diversity and inclusion are critical to the success of a business. Haas students will participate in hands-on case discussions to further enhance our understanding of diversity and inclusion and our ability to effectively manage challenges and opportunities associated with this topic.

Boost your confidence in how to lead diverse teams, articulate why racial diversity in the workplace matters and gain resources to leverage across industries post-MBA.

This workshop will also serve as a preview to the inaugural Business Case for Diversity and Inclusion course to be taught by Sanchez in Spring 2017.
