Joe Dougherty

Partner & Regional Director Americas at Dalberg

Joe is Dalberg Advisors’ Managing Director for the Americas region. He has served as a trusted advisor to donor agencies, governments, NGOs, and leading corporations for twenty years, and has worked in more than 30 countries. Before joining Dalberg, Joe was the Director of the Economic Growth practice at Cardno Emerging Markets, where he worked with the World Bank, Nike Foundation, USAID, AusAID, and others to improve access to finance, raise agricultural productivity, and enhance the lives of the poor in developing countries. Earlier in his career, Joe worked with both Deloitte and A.T. Kearney, where he served as the firm’s first country manager for Thailand and worked extensively across Southeast Asia.

In addition to his work in development, Joe served on the Board of the North Carolina World Trade Association and as Co-Chairman of the DREAMS Center, an award-winning program for at-risk youth. He has taught graduate courses at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) as well as the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley, where he currently teaches an undergraduate course titled ‘Strategy Consulting for Social Impact’. Joe graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University in Maryland and received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business as well as an MA from SAIS.

Molly Bode

Engagement Manager from McKinsey & Company

Molly Bode is an MBA/MPH 2014 alumn working in management consulting at McKinsey & Company. She is an Engagement Manager in the Sillican Valley Office who works across the Health Systems and Services and Public and Social Sector Practice. She serves a variety of clients in the US and abroad mostly on health strategy projects at the intersection of the public, private and social sector. Most recently she's focused on projects in Medicaid in the US and on disease elimination and family planning internationally. She worked in global health pre-McKinsey at the World Bank and Darthmouth College in Rwanda, India, Haiti and Honduras. Additionally she worked in state government for the Governor of Massachusetts as the liaison to Health & Human Services, Education, and Labor & Workforce Development. At Haas, she was co-chair of the Global Social Venture Competition and participated in many social impact clubs and activities and she's excited to be back!

Suraj Patel

Associate from Camber Collective

Suraj helps clients maximize impact by framing problems and identifying solutions informed by rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Prior to joining Camber, Suraj managed global health research at the George W. Bush institute where he assisted in the writing of Pharmacy on a Bicycle: Innovative Approaches to Global Health and Poverty (2013) by Eric G. Bing and Marc J. Epstein. In addition, he supported Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon, a public-private partnership to address women's cancers in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, where his analysis helped inform country-level strategy planning and resource investment. Suraj has also served as a strategic advisor to global health social enterprises, NGOs, and foundations in their efforts to maximize their impact. Previously, he was a business analyst at Accenture where he drove operational improvements for clients in healthcare, energy, and finance industries.



Clare Schroder

Senior Consultant at FSG

Clare is a Senior Consultant in FSG’s San Francisco office and a recent Haas MBA/MPH ’17 alum. The majority of her work on FSG case and business development teams thus far has focused on corporate foundations and health. On these teams she drives towards solutions that serve client needs, address inequities, and create systems change for a long-term and sustainable impact. Prior to FSG, Clare worked in biotech and health systems in the U.S., and in global public health consulting in developing markets. At John Snow, Inc. (JSI), she worked in a project management role for clients such as USAID, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on maternal and child health and Ebola response programs. Clare enjoys working in cross-cultural settings and is fortunate to have worked in East Timor, Ethiopia, Georgia, India, Uganda, United States, and South Africa.
