A lot of unspoken rules guide our behaviors In the workplace. Maybe you've been told….

"Stop being so emotional!"
"Crying is a sign that you're weak"
"Never let them see you sweat"

Some people would argue that "being emotional" is a weakness at work. Executive coach Dr. Bernstein aims to help shift that. The leaders she supports know this:   When you harness the positive power of your emotions, you build unstoppable confidence.

In this workshop, Dr. Bernstein will help you to learn to identify and express your emotions in a way that’s healthy and productive — for you and your colleagues.

As time permits, she'll also offer spot coaching. So be sure to come with your questions about workplace situations you're facing, if you'd like her expert guidance.

Dr. Susan Bernstein helps emerging and existing leaders to harness all of their strengths — including their emotions --so they can elevate their careers and make a greater impact in the world.

As an executive coach and leadership consultant, Susan helps individuals and organizations to embrace the positive power of emotions instead of trying to suppress or control them, transform conflict into collaboration, and express leadership in their own unique way rather than trying to fit a mold.

Susan understands the demands of fast-paced, high-intensity workplaces. She held demanding executive development and management consulting roles at companies including Franklin-Covey, Intel, and Accenture. Through her writing and videos, she shares energizing, empowering tools and practices for boosting leadership. She is deeply influenced by her PhD research in Somatic Psychology, also known as mind/body psychology. She also draws on expertise in neuroscience, neurobiology, mindfulness, movement practices, and yoga.

Susan earned her MBA at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and both an MA and a PhD in Somatic Psychology at the Chicago School for Professional Psychology's Santa Barbara campus.
