Mission Challenge for Charity is an organization that aims to engage the entire Haas community in select charitable causes and to promote social responsibility as a priority of future business leaders. The Haas C4C chapter is part of a consortium of nine West Coast business schools competing over the course of each year to accumulate volunteer hours and raise money for charity. The culmination of the year's efforts is the C4C Sports Weekend in April, when over 1,000 MBA students engage in more than 30 sports. One school wins the coveted Golden Briefcase Award based on the best total score across three measures: fundraising, volunteerism, and the sports competition.
