The Haas Africa Business Club (AfBC) is a dynamic and student-driven organization committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community at Haas. Our mission encompasses four key pillars:

The Latinx Business Club is dedicated to promoting the experience of US Latinx students at Haas by building a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment.

In 2018, the Latinx Business Club formed as a bridge to Latin American & Hispanic Business Association (LAHBA) focused on creating a community for the unique experiences of US Latinx students. The Latinx Business Club is dedicated to promoting the experience of US Latinx students at Haas by building a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment. Our programming is centered on supporting a strong pipeline of underrepresented Latinx students into business education; cultivating community and celebrating our cultures at Berkeley Haas; and providing professional resources and opportunities to support the next generation of US Latinx leaders.

Q@Haas serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQIA+) MBA community, including partners and allies, at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Q@Haas has four main goals to help accomplish this mission:

1. To build and support lasting connections between and among Haas' LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

2. To enhance the professional and personal development of LGBT students at Haas.

3. To increase LGBT representation and visibility within the larger Haas community, ensuring Haas remains an open and inclusive environment.

4. To build awareness around issues of LGBTQ+ representation, equity, inclusion and belonging both at school and in the workplace.

Haas, like Berkeley and the greater Bay Area, is known for its diverse, inclusive, and affirming spirit - and Q@Haas is no exception. We are one of the campus' most active clubs. We sponsor socials, educational panels, mentoring programs, workshops, recruiting events, alumni mixers, and so much more – for both LGBT students and the entire Haas community.

Q@Haas asks that formal membership is reserved for those who identify with the LGBTQ+ community, however the group actively encourages all students to participate in events such as Coming Out Week, Consumption Function, and Drag Race regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Our mission is to foster relationships amongst individuals in the Haas MBA community interested in South Asia, through social, cultural and professional events. We strive to unite the entire South Asian region across borders - from India, to Kazakhstan, to Sri Lanka and everywhere in between and beyond.

SABA is open to all Haas MBA students and partners.

Membership Benefits
Membership entails access to events at no or discounted costs. Events include Bollywood dance / fitness classes, food outings/cooking parties, movie nights, speaker panels, South Asian story salon, and more.
