Step Ahead is a Bay-Area based startup non-profit that creates free athletic opportunities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through collaborations with college student-athlete volunteers. Step Ahead educates and enables the student-athletes so that they can establish sustainable, campus-based running teams for these children. Based on a prototype Chapter founded in 2015 at Washington University in St. Louis, Step Ahead (est. as 501(c)3 in 2017) has since spread to five colleges nationwide and raised $15K in funding.

Step Ahead has a unique opportunity for passionate and creative local MBA Candidates with an interest in entrepreneurship and non-profit/social impact organizations to assist with the national expansion and strategic development of a startup non-profit. MBA students looking to expand their abilities and experience in social sector leadership, entrepreneurship, or consulting/strategic management, as well as technical skills in accounting/web design, are invited to contact Founder & Executive Director Annie Marggraff (contact@stepaheadrunning.org).
