Competitions
Teams from Haas regularly compete in a number of finance- and investment-related case competitions.

These competitions:
  • Allow students to get solid, first-hand, and hands-on experience pitching an idea
  • Help students prepare for interviews
  • Give career switching students the chance to expand their skill sets
  • Provide networking opportunities with professionals and other MBA students
Each fall, the Investment Club holds an internal stock pitch competition, judged by faculty and industry professionals. Teams who place in this competition will have the ability to compete in national competitions.

Historically, Haas has sent teams to the following national competitions:
  • Cornell Stock-Pick Challenge
  • UNC Alpha Challenge
  • Ross Investment Competitions
  • UCLA - Fink Center Stock Pitch Competition
Students have other opportunities and competitions to develop their skills as well. These include the Fortress Challenge and the Fortress Fellowship.
