Bienvenido / Bem Vindo / Welcome

LAHBA's mission is to unite students from all backgrounds who share an interest in Latin America and the Hispanic world. Members organize and sponsor a variety of activities to heighten the cultural, economic, and political awareness of the region and culture. LAHBA also serves as an organization where members can add depth and size to their professional networks.

Additionally, the association facilitates international career searches by helping members become familiar with business opportunities in Latin American countries, fostering communication between students and alumni, and supporting academic and professional networking with other Latin American & Hispanic associations.

Membership Benefits
Our agenda focuses on the following goals:
- Continue making LAHBA a successful professional networking - association.
- Help our members develop a successful career.
- Increase the reach of LAHBA and its alumni in the United States and beyond.
- Make an impact on the Latino community in the Bay Area.

On top of being a member of the coolest club on campus, members are included in the LAHBA resume book. Both LATAM firms and firms interested in the US Hispanic market use it to identify candidates that are involved in the future of these growing markets.

Also LAHBA membership includes free admission to the Berkeley Latin American Business Conference, BBQs and mixers. It also gives you access to discounts for our world-famous Mojito Parties. Since partners are such an important part of our MBA life, we give the option of signing up with them to have access to the same benefits.
