Since its foundation in 1999, the Haas Soccer Club (HSC) has been one of the largest and most popular institutions at the school– both to those who play and those who support the team from the sideline.

The club brings together Haas students and their partners from around the globe to both play and enjoy the world’s most popular sport. The HSC is designed for players of all experience levels and welcomes both male and female members. The HSC has weekly training sessions to build skills and improve conditioning. The club also schedules regular matches with other clubs at UC Berkeley, as well as a range of opponents from around the Bay Area.

The HSC enters teams in the UC Berkeley intramural competitions, the annual MBA Soccer tournaments at the University of Texas – Austin and the University of California Los Angeles, as well as the Challenge 4 Charity (C4C) sports championships weekend at Stanford University. Each of these events helps foster a strong team spirit, which extends from the field to the many post game social events.

This past year (2015-2016), the Haas Soccer Club has once again had a very successful season:

  • 1st place, Challenge for Charity; Men's Soccer (beat Stanford in OT in the final)
  • 1st place, Challenge for Charity; Co-ed Soccer
  • Semifinalist, UCLA Tournament (lost on PKs)

We look forward to another fun & successful year!
