Come join the Food Innovation Studio Project and Venture Fair on Tuesday, December 3rd. The day is structured as a project/venture fair where our teams present their projects and business plans to a panel of industry experts who will ask questions and provide feedback.
FIS is the capstone course of the new Sustainable Food Initiative at the Center for Responsible Business at BerkeleyHaas and is taught by William Rosenzweig and Adrian Rodrigues. The course is focused on enabling graduate students to identify and define pressing challenges and unmet needs in the broader food system. This course is all about systems level innovation in the food industry, with an emphasis on driving social and environmental impact as well. The goal is for students to work with or develop mission-driven, disruptive companies that address key challenges the industry faces and aligning strategy and execution tactics to address them.
Transforming Food Systems Speaker Series: Sustainable Supply Chains

TerViva produces plant protein and vegetable oil by growing a non-GMO, sustainable tree crop called pongamia (Pongamia pinnata), which produces dramatically higher yields than other oilseed crops such as soybeans.
