Dear HCF,

Last newsletter for the year!  Praise God for his faithfulness and abundant blessing to this club and to each of us in 2014-15.  As you head off for your summer adventures and new jobs, we encourage you to take some time to thank God for all that He has provided for you this year.  Whether new friends, new opportunities, new perspective, or even new struggles that are leading you to deeper dependence on Him, there is much to be thankful for in this season.

Feel free to email any of your co-presidents with prayer requests over the summer!  Here's our prayer for you over the summer:

"We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light." - Colossians 1:9-12

Grace and Peace,

Anthony, Jake, and Megan

Weekly Reflection - Serena Cheung (FTMBA '15)

This week is the last week of class, which also means that my MBA journey is coming to an end very soon. Reflecting on my two years at Haas, I am truly grateful for every single moment and experience that I have had.  These are the experiences that I would never forget. Although I have not been very disciplined in going to Sunday mass, I always know that God is besides me and prepares the path that he wants me to take. For example, I decided to take the full time offer with Samsung in Korea. Moving to Korea? It was never something that I would have imagined myself doing. However, I decided to do it not only because of a good career move, but I also believe that it is something that God has planned for me. I know that adapting to  new culture in a country that I am not familiar with is not going to be easy. However, I have faith in God that he will continue to watch over me wherever I go.

Life is full of excitements and challenges, and I believe everything happens for a reason. Coming to Haas for my MBA is not random, nor my move to Korea. God has always been watching me and participating in every single decision that I made. The only thing I need to do is to trust him.
