Challenger 4 Charity Update
https://www.campusgroups.com/images/emails/default_square_image.pngSunday, March 20, seven souls, Kaz, Manav, Leslie, Thulasi, Jonathan, Mark, and Dave, braved the elements in Alameda to tend to Ploughsares Nursery, a commerce arm of Alameda Point Collaborative that grows and sells flowers, herbs, and other outdoor items (e.g. pottery) and uses all proceeds to help low-income families break the pull of poverty. We worked on projects ranging from beatifying the land to setting up the spring planting season, which allows the regular staff there to focus on driving income that feeds the families.

If you'd like to get involved for C4C, look out for upcoming events in Spring and check out our EWMBAA blog post.
