Now that Marriage Equality is achieved across the U.S., where do we go from here? Come hear a conversation with Kate Kendell, a leader of the LGBTQ rights movement, about her experience fighting for Marriage Equality and her thoughts on the new frontier of the LGBTQ civil rights movement.

------

As a teenager growing up in Texas trying to figure out what life would be like as an "out" gay person, I had no idea (nor aspirations) that gay marriage would be possible in my lifetime. But, 15 months ago, this became the new reality! I was ecstatic!

But, marriage isn't everything. In some states, you can get married on Sunday and fired on Monday. Similarly, you can be denied housing if you're trans in certain states. At the same time, there's a national backlash after Marriage Equality - with many states passing very thinly veiled "religious liberty" or "bathroom" laws to discriminate against our most vulnerable - transgender children.

How do we continue to fight for equality? Where do we go now?

Come join us as we explore this topic and hear Kate's experience during the historic Marriage Equality fight.
