The MBA Association is the student-elected representatives of the full-time MBA program.

We have a fiduciary responsibility to our classmates through management of MBAA dues, are the primary conduit between students and staff & faculty as well as external communities, and work to improve the Berkeley-Haas experience for current students, prospective students and alumni.

Officers serve from January of their first year through December of their second year.

The Association for the Latinx MBA Advancement (ALMA) is dedicated to promoting the experience of US Latinx students at Haas by building a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment.

In 2018, the Latinx Business Club formed as a bridge to Latin American & Hispanic Business Association (LAHBA) focused on creating a community for the unique experiences of US Latinx students. The Latinx Business Club is dedicated to promoting the experience of US Latinx students at Haas by building a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative environment. BERC@Haas is the business school arm of the Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative (BERC) (http://berc.berkeley.edu/). Our goal is to make UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business the nation's leading business school for energy and resources research, entrepreneurship, and career development.

Our activities focus on expanding curriculum offerings, strengthening the school's alumni and professional network, and promoting energy and resources-related events and discussions. We work directly with account managers and career coaches from the Haas Career Services Office to develop and maintain relationships with leading and emerging firms. We also regularly organize treks to local companies and tours of local energy facilities.

The mission of the Haas Beer Club is threefold. First, we endeavor to strengthen the Haas spirit by creating opportunities for our members to enjoy each other's company while enjoying a tasty brew. Second, we aim to connect students and alumni with Beer Industry professionals in order to strengthen the Haas brand and generate networking opportunities. Finally, we strive to educate our members and the Haas community at large about the finer points of beer drinking. As home to the first Micro Brewery in the United States, the Bay area has much to offer in terms beer culture. From the brewing process, to the tasting methods, to varieties and selections, we want our members to appreciate all aspects of a beverage that is often underappreciated.

The Haas Beer Club will host speakers from breweries large and small to provide salient industry prospective and networking opportunities. The club will also host a series of brewery tours designed to expose our members to the many fantastic breweries right here in northern California. For those who are interested in the art of home brewing, we hope to organize educational events that will explore the home brewing process and produce tangible (and drinkable) results. The Beer Industry Club will play an active roll in the Haas social scene through involvement in Consumption Functions, Happy Hours, and new admit events. Finally, we actively seek partnerships with other clubs to host meaningful events that will enhance the Haas experience for all students.

If you have any interest in pursuing an internship or career in a finance-related field, you should definitely consider joining the Finance Club. Club members receive benefits that far outweigh the cost of membership. The majority of our events, including Firm Night, the Wall Street Trip and alumni happy hours, are open to club members only. In addition, you will receive access to the club member contact database, which is an invaluable source for career networking.

Memberships are $35 for one year and $50 for two (FTMBA) or three years (EWMBA) and you can sign up online.

HaasID supports students in exploring how design thinking skills fit into business, and how business skills fit into the design world. We are a collaborative and diverse student community that encourages creativity, empathy, and weirder ways of looking at the world.

Membership Benefits
HaasID works across four areas: education, career, community and thought leadership. We aim to educate students in design thinking and encourage the development of creative skills. Some of our workshops and offerings have included a "Drawing for non-drawers" class, a portfolio-making workshop, and more.

HaasID also is the resource for students looking to go into the field of design and innovation or to apply those skills to their current industries. We have hosted career panels and treks to firms from IDEO to Frog Design. This fall we will be hosting more career treks and roundtable discussions and look forward to hearing from you if there are firms you are particularly interested in knowing more about.

Finally, HaasID aims to promote a culture of community and thought leadership by hosting events and social gatherings that bring the design and business communities together.

Our cornerstone event is the HaasID Innovation Challenge. Each spring, HaasID brings together students, designers, and business professionals for a day-long innovation challenge. Bringing together inspiring speakers with hands-on creative workshops, student and professional teams work together to solve a pressing business challenge.
