The Global Initiatives at Haas club at the UC-Berkeley Business School successfully piloted an International Development Trek to Kenya in January 2010. Haas MBA students broadened global perspectives and awareness of the unmet needs and economic opportunities in a developing country while establishing relationships with nonprofit organizations, social enterprises and for-profit businesses internationally.
