Hey HCF:
This is your 2017 leadership e-mail!
The 2016 HCF leaders have been praying over this leadership transition for a while. We have prayed for you first-year FTMBAs and first/second-year EWMBAs to have time and space to reflect and discern how God may be calling you to serve on the HCF leadership team in 2017.
For those of us graduating soon (and are therefore not able to be officers), be sure to encourage someone to serve as a leader. Your nudge or vote of confidence in someone can make a huge difference. (I had not thought myself worthy/ready/insert-some-qualification-here to be an HCF leader. But because some second-years encouraged me and prayed for me to re-consider, I ended up as your co-president! --Freya)
Please read the attachment that contains the full description of the application and transition process!
Here is a shortened version about what to expect:
Serving on HCF leadership is different than normal club leadership. HCF leadership includes not only tactical club leadership, but also spiritual leadership. As an HCF leader, you are signing up to represent Christ to the Haas community and to lead your brothers and sisters into a deeper relationship with Christ. This is a call to serve the members of this community.
Leadership roles and responsibilities from this year to the next may look different based on God-given gifts and callings. Depending on how many people apply and the roles each person feels called to serve, we will determine whether to have elections or hold a meeting with all applicants to figure out the structure that is right for this year’s team. Should you join the leadership team, this fellowship is yours to lead.
