On behalf of the exec team, we would like to apologize for the mistake in the last Newsletter. We would like to congratulate our 2018 VP’s of Diversity: Melanie Akwule, Cora Puliatch, Shaun Hundle.
I hope you all had a great time at the Dean's Scotch Tasting this past weekend. Melanie and I saw quite a few of you there. Dean Lyons's term ends in June 2018, and the search for a new dean is well underway. I hope we continue to have events similar to last weekend.
We have an exciting list of events as well as amazing insights below. If you have any questions or comments please reach out to any member of The Association.
Warm regards,
Vic Sandhu

Hi All! March 3 is Haas Interview Day (HID). HID is the day when we invite round 2 applicants from outside the Bay Area to come to campus to interview, visit a class, and mingle with students. If you see prospective students feel free to say hi!
Individual admissions interviews, class visits, and tours will be taking place. It's also an opportunity to grow our base outside of the Bay Area, so we will be holding a lunchtime panel.

Make an Impact! Socially Responsible Investing (RSVP required)
Increasing global sensitivity to climate change is not only part of a growing social movement, but has compelled investors to sharpen their focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues in their portfolios. Across the globe, investors are increasingly striving for a better world—whether by protecting the environment, promoting fair labor practices, ensuring economic sustainability, or encouraging good corporate stewardship.
Peter de Menocal, Linda Guiliano, and Alex Chaloff will lead an engaging discussion on the ever-expanding opportunities for investors to do well while doing good. Click here to learn more about the speakers, and please contact Corey Cunningham to RSVP: corey_cunningham@berkeley.edu.
Want to get more involved with Social Impact @ Haas?
