Earlier this week, we had another productive meeting with the Program Office (PO). We understand that getting timely, valuable feedback and grades are concerns for many of you. Part of the difficulty in reaching a viable solution resides with navigating the schedules and varied interests of professors. We are trying to achieve a resolution in part, by submitting examples of great feedback from professors to the PO, and ascribing their distinct value to our learning experience. We urge you to send us constructive feedback that you’ve received from your Haas professors, especially if you would like to see this practice amongst more of our faculty. Our hope is that the PO may utilize these feedback examples as a means for professors to recognize the value of this learning tool, and to adopt this practice. Read more
The Program Office (PO) continues to be receptive to our concerns and feedback. They admit that they don't always get it right, but they are actively trying to create a greater good.
With respect to Applied Innovation, we are still waiting for the final course survey results. However, the PO has shared that they are considering restructuring the design courses (PFPS/AI/MPAR) to better suit students' needs. Furthermore, they are also excited about a potential faculty candidate that they hope will bolster our current faculty.Read more
Vip and I had a good first meeting with Courtney and Janelle regarding Applied Innovation. We genuinely feel that they want to help us improve the course. They reiterated, across many topics of discussion during this meeting, that their goal is to improve the experience of our students. We would also like you to know that there is a lengthy process in place to invoke curricular change. This begins with a third party sifting through the course evaluations, whose results will be available in mid-February. Depending on conclusions made from these evaluations, exploring options for course improvement will then require communicating with faculty, and then proposing changes through the EWMBA program committee, which meets 1-2 times per semester. We intend to continue building on our discussion surrounding AI in subsequent meetings, and you will be updated with any progress. In the interim, we appreciate and remain open to your feedbackRead more

We intend to leverage our academic backgrounds to improve our existing relationship with faculty and administration, while forging new ones, in the interest of providing you with a better academic experience at Haas.
